Shildon Railway.
Had a quick ride over to Shildon and took it from the bridge didn't bother going into the museum when I saw where the 'Flying Scotsman' was as I wouldn't have been able to take a clear photo of it. Took this of the 'Union of South Africa' which was shunting up and down strangely it has the flying scotsman name on the engine ?

Sand Sculpture Redcar.
Took this today when we went out for a little ride to Redcar, lovely day again 20c there were lots of people there. Turned this photo Black and White it looks a lot better with more depth and texture it makes it look more like stone, the colours muted the sculpture too much.

Straw Bales.
Saw these bales today while I was going over Cumbria. I love seeing the straw bales in the fields this time of year, but I must admit that I still prefer the old rectangle ones of my youth. Weather has been lovely again even if it was a bit muggy but still twenty degrees, this was taken just off the A66.

Absolutely scorching again today what a lovely day did a wedding open night tonight at hardwick hall and then took this of these beautiful horses on the way home, I love the way light shine through the horses maine's and the way the light causes the glow around this horse's ears.

Lendal Bridge York.
Took this photo today while I was in York it was packed grabbed this while in traffic waiting for the lights to change.
Lendal Bridge looking at Barker Tower on the west bank of the River Ouse.
It was designed by civil engineer Thomas Page who also designed London's Westminster Bridge It is made of cast iron, and has a single span of 175 feet (53 m) and opened in 1863.
