Today is the first of May and we are already a third of the year has passed. I never realised until doing this project especially for the second year how fast time actually goes. You only get one life life it and keep looking forward.

Being beautiful today I have been all over. Originally two jobs to five but you cannot complain, Trimdon Barrow , Kendal, Ormesby Hartlepool round trip. These flowers looked lovely in the sun bring on summer.

Hardwick Hall Garden Marquee.
I have been doing the Hardwick Hall Wedding Open Day, We are the recommended Photographers for Hardwick Hall. I would like to thank all the brides and grooms who came to speak to me. Out and about this morning and took this photo of these dog daisies near Sedgefield. It's a while since I have seen any of these I can remember lots of these flowers when I was young, but they seem to have died out in many areas.

Latest Blake Jewellery Shoot.
I have never stopped today doing the latest shoot for Rachael at Blake Jewellery. This must have been the hottest day this year no fun under all the lights doing the close up of the jewellery, we also included some styled shots for her new season look. This is a little tease of more to come.

View of Skiddaw.
Its been beautiful weather today and I have been over Cumbria, I took this on the way home of the back side of Skiddaw, taken from Bassenthwaite as there was a lot of roadworks on the A66. I love the little cottage on the foot of the fells what a place to live.

Lone Dandelion.
Took Bailey out for an evening walk he's been a bit off colour this afternoon he must have picked something up. His stomach is making plenty of pops and squeaks and he was wanting a bit of grass to eat. Hopefully he'll pick up tomorrow if not it's off to the vets in the morning.

Seaton Carew Promenade.
Dropped Elaine and Kim off in Hartlepool today for a bit of shopping, I had a better idea than shopping so I had a walk along Seaton seafront it was lovely big fluffy clouds and blue skies. I love the dramatic sky when you shoot black and white with a red filter it makes the sky turn black.

Raindrops and Bluebells.
Weather had been raining most of the morning. I took this photo this morning on the back road to Trimdon Village behind the pit heap. I had just had Bailey for a little walk along old railway line and noticed these bluebells in the hedgerow.

Memorial to 158 Squadron stationed at RAF Lissett.
I have been down Yorkshire today on my travels and passed this lovely memorial on the way to Driffield from Skipsea. I have seen it a few times now, but lovely blue skies and big white fluffy clouds make it look even my poignant. The Memorial also has all the names of the airman who were killed or lost from the squadron on it .If you are ever in the area it's definitely worth a look.

First Bike Ride this year.
1st bike ride for quite a while, stopped off for this photo on wynyard bridge. I did twelve miles tonight which Im quite pleased with for my first ride in nearly two years

Noticed the sky this evening while I had Bailey out for a walk, it so reminds me of the scene in 'Independence Day' when the spaceship came over the mountains, well tonight they came over the Grange Pit Heap for a change.

Took Dad out for a little road trip today, we went to Hartlepool first for the first job quick ride along Seaton front then onto lovely York. I have been over Cumbria today took these Bluebells near to Tebay on the old road from Kendal. The weather has been beautiful over there today. I don't think the Bluebells are as good as last year and talking to a farmer just after I took the photo he replied 'it's been awer card lad'....

Very cold today, took Elaine to Hardwick Hall for Sunday lunch, nice treat lovely it was too. Then went out for a Sunday ride down to the Seaton. It's the first time in a while where there wasnt a queue outside the 'Almighty Cod' and plenty of parking places.

Walk Along Hurworth Burn.
Its been a lovely day today weather's been beautiful. Had a walk at Hurworth Burn this evening with Bailey, it was lovely there were Swallows, Swifts and House Martin presenting a marvellous aerial display catching all the insects. The birds were singing in every bush and everything was well in the world. Took this on the way back to the car of the signpost on the cycle track, I must get my bike out I have missed it.

Happy Anniversary.
Well it's mine and Elaine's 32nd Wedding Anniversary today, this little man has been with us for the last 15 of them. Yes! he's 16 in August he has been such a big part of the family for all them years, anyone who's a dog lover will understand what im saying. He was trying to get an afternoon nap in the sunshine when I took this and he's half a sleep, he follows the sun around the house throughout the day to get the best spots. This little camera never ceases to amaze me what it can do.

Sandsend Groynes Sunset.
Today I have been down the North Yorkshire Coast quite a nice day. I have been to Hornsea then up to Bridlington, Scarborough took the coast road home via Whitby to the lovely seaside spot of Sandsend. I noticed the rare parking space in front of the hotels so parked up and popped onto beach for a quick photo.

Grazing Sheep Cumbria.
I have been over Cumbria again today and it was up to 18 degrees at one stage today, apparently it was freezing at Trimdon. I have been going over Cumbria regularly for the last four years and the weather is definitely better than home. Stumbled on this a scene on the way to kendal this afternoon.

One O'Clock Two O'Clock.
A lot of people don't like dandelions but when they are ready to cast their seeds like these are I think they look lovely especially backlit from the warm setting sun. Today is the 1st of May and we are already a third of the year through. The weather has been very changeable today from misty sea fret to lovely sun and warm then back to chilly again.
