Well nearly half of the year has gone another three weeks and we have the longest day. I am still enjoying the project and it has been easier at times now that I use all of my camera equipment not just the Fuji X100T. I have taken more photos with this than any other camera because I always have it with me in the car while im out our with Bailey.

Pretty Rain Soaked Flowers.
I delivered Lynsey and Adams finished Wedding Photographs this morning from their wedding earlier this month, then sorting out prints for some more customers. Tonight I went to Hardwick Hall tonight to see a bride and groom to make the final arrangements for their wedding next month. I took these rain soaked flowers in the hotels lovely flower beds just outside of the hotel reception area.

Stormy Withered Tree.
Weather has changed quite a lot today and no prom dresses. Its been quite chilly compared to what we have been used too, I have been to Cumbria today and was on the fells similar to the fells on the 'Slaughtered Lamb Pub' on American Werewolf in London hahah !! Saw the old tree and thought of a horror movie sort of landscape hope you like it. Toned it for more of an effect

Trimdon Panorama.
Lovely day again today even if it was a bit windy but it's a lot better than rain. I took this photo this afternoon looking from wingate nature reserve back towards spion kop at the top of Trimdon Grange. I dont think people realised what beautiful countryside we have on our doorstep.

Nice day again today had a lovely meeting at Durham and booked another wedding with a lovely bride for her wedding in May 2019. I have been doing weddings 23 years now and I still love them. Called to see this great sculpture in the fields just on the outskirts of Durham on the way home.

Summer Solstice Foxglove .
I have been over Cumbria today and the weather got up to 27 degrees but overcast but still a lovely day. Took this along a deserted country road the ones with the 6 foot hedges and a car wide. Love the backlit effect in the photo and you can nearly see through the flower in places

My Office View.
Too Hot !! but I could stick a bit more of it, working in the loft- office both Velux windows wide open two fans going still 31 degrees.
I have been editing the wedding and christening I did over the weekend. Took this about 2pm out of the window I love the way the houses are bent because of the wide angle distortion my 17-40L lens gives when you tilt it slightly up. I have also toned the image to give it bit of a surreal look.

Sundown Wind Turbines.
Been quite busy all day I have finished my year end accounts for another year!! Four years totally self employed now living the dream it took a few years to realise it but it's here now in charge of my own destiny . Took this late tonight on a slow shutter speed as I wanted to show the movement of the blades but have the masts still sharp, used a small gorillapod to keep the camera steady.

Purple Garden Flowers.
Went out for a ride today up the Tees Valley and back via Frosterley rained most of the time definitely went the wrong direction today should have headed to the coast. Took this while I took Bailey out called into the allotments and noticed this lovely plant I dont know what it is but it also has purple stems and leaves too.

My First Poppies of the Season.
It's been another lovely day today, Elaine and I had a ride down to Northallerton through to Leyburn and back through Richmond . I noticed these poppies on an embankment right next to gateway on a slip road on the new A1 improvements, love all fluffy clouds and the bit of lens flare also showing all stages of the flowers.

Out and about today drove past the Black Bull and this marvel from the past was parked outside, the lovely Mary Magdalene's church is in the background. This had to be turned black and white to make it timeless with the storm clouds brewing above the church all add to the photo.

Cumbria a bygone era.
I have been over Cumbria again today took this on the way out of Cockermouth the sky was looking very dramatic and we had a bit of rain, I love the old sign post you could think you were in the 1940's not the present day. I love it in black and white too.
