October, start of month ten 

I cannot believe i'm starting on day 275 October 1st.
Today's photo starts with a farming ploughing the fields ready for the next season of crops with the seagulls following the plough looking for worms and grubs or anything else the plough turns up and no Kim they arent attaching the tractor (private joke).

Thank you all for all the comments and likes that you all have contributed on Facebook and Instagram it does really keep me going.

I am seriously thinking of doing a book of the year with all photos dependant on if I can achieve enough interest.
This will have more insight into the photos why I took them what it reminds me of also the technical detail of what can be achieved with this brilliant little camera, that has been by my side everyday this year.

Spooky Halloween Church. 

Took this tonight after visiting Dad, took Anne on a photo adventure again looking for a picture saw the ruined church all lit up thought it was very apt being Halloween. Blue toned it too.

Beamish Steam Hammer Arch. 

I have been out delivery wedding photographs near chester le street today took a scenic ride home and stumbled upon this northern landmark to the entrance of Beamish Museum. I will have to make a call there again I haven't been since we had a school trip from sedgefield comprehensive in the mid 70's

Durham Cathedral. 

I took this today while I was at Durham, I thought about it for a while should I take a photo while the cathedral has scaffolding on the top of the tower. But that is the way it is now, so there is no reason to photoshop it out and it is now recorded in 2016 for prosperity.

Fire in the Sky. 

What a sky tonight took this on the way home after visiting Dad. Took my sister on a little photo jaunt for a change as I have been doing it mostly by myself for the rest of the year. Its a while since I have seen a sunset as vivid at this.

Winding Country Road. 

Bit of a milestone today, 300 days gone only 66 left I can see the end of the tunnel. I have really enjoyed this project and some days it's a breeze where something just appears at the right time  I'm thinking what I will do come January 1st 2017.. I wonder... open to suggestions !!

Autumn Wynyard Grounds. 

Lovely autumnal day again today,took a little detour through Wynyard grounds on the way to Middlesbrough noticed the trees a week ago but the leaves had not changed enough for the photo, called today and things come to those that wait well sometimes.

Wynyard Bridge at Night.

Took this photo tonight have been busy all day finishing editing my last wedding from Newton Hall. Took a little ride to the old wynyard station to take this photo with the bridge lit up and shining a path to the stars. I have rode over this and took a breathe there on my bike many times during the day.

Lovely day over Cumbria again today,took a little detour past Ullswater on the way home via Pooley Bridge. Big round trip from Barrow right up the coast to Maryport, lovely autumnal colours everywhere.

Pine Trees at Sunset. 

I love this time of year and the low warm sunlight especially in the afternoons. I love the long shadows cast on the floor as the sun shines through the trees, you never get this effect in the summer because the sun is too high in the sky  Took this while out with Bailey on the Pit heap.

Autumn Sampling. 

Found this little sampling today just as it is turning red making a lovely contrast against the dark green leaves below it. Found this while out with Bailey on the pit heap. The sampling was lit by a shaft of sunlight was making them glow again the floor.

Monxton Village, where time has stopped.

Library Telephone Box Thruxton. 

Saw this lovely little Telephone box in the village, then I noticed the sign had been changed to Library and noticed it had been shelved out and was full of books, this is a beautiful little village just off the A303 weather has been lovely too apparently a lot better than home.

Backlit Maple Leaves. 

This photo was taken on the pit heap on the woodland path love the low light in this photo and how warm it is. This is only like this in spring and autumn and the sun is low in the sky, Have you noticed how the trees seem to be very late for the leaves to all change colour.

Railway Crossing. 

Saw this railway crossing today, loved the way the rails were shining with the sunlight, also the way they look as though they are going to meet each other in the distance. Tuned black and white to focus more on the subject rather than the blue sky and green fields.

Horses in the Morning Mist. 

I saw these horses in the misty field this morning, the only thing missing is Mr Darcy walking up the hill (Kim Runciman). I also love the aeroplane trails in the morning sky, also the chill in the air autumn is definitely here now

Saw this today going through the villages and pulled over near Fishburn and took this photo of this beautiful old steam engine, saw it later again parked up next to the Dun Cow Sedgefield. Lovely sight to see even if they do hold up the traffic.
